The Grain of the Gesture.
Framing my own photographs is more than presentation - it’s part of the art itself. I’ve long had a passion for woodworking and the satisfaction that comes from shaping something with my hands. Each frame is made slowly and deliberately, the grain of the wood guiding the process as much as the image it will eventually hold. There’s a rhythm to sanding, staining, assembling; an echo of the care I take behind the camera. By crafting the frame myself, I’m able to carry the work from the street to the wall, preserving the spirit of the image in a form that feels both grounded and personal.
