Poems of Steel and Stone
Framed Fine Art Print | Ilford Gold Fibre Pearl | 70 × 50 cm
Poems of Steel and Stone frames a fleeting intersection of human scale and monumental infrastructure. Beneath the looming geometry of twin overpasses, a solitary figure walks through a shaft of light, casting a crisp shadow across the concrete below. The symmetry above and the fractured textures below invite a reading of the urban landscape as both oppressive and poetic—where structure meets solitude, and silence echoes louder than noise.
The photograph is framed behind anti-reflective glass in a handmade ash wood frame, stained black to mirror the image’s tonal weight. Meticulously built in my studio, each frame balances presence with restraint. A white-stained version is available upon request.
