Suspended is a meditation on scale and solitude within the vertical rhythm of the city. A single figure clings to the façade of a brutalist high-rise, dwarfed by the geometry that surrounds them. The building cuts clean into a pale, expansive sky, its stacked repetition interrupted only by the human presence—small, precarious, and quietly heroic. The image invites reflection on vulnerability, labour, and the quiet poetry of endurance.
The photograph is framed behind anti-reflective glass in a handmade ash wood frame, stained black to complement the stark tonal contrast of the composition. Each frame is crafted by hand in my studio, with precision and care. A white-stained option is available upon request.
